Naoussa
The Venetian castle of Naoussa is near the old port and it is the most characteristic spot of this town. Constructed in the 15th century by the Venetians, it was used as a watchtower for pirate and enemy attacks. Its location was convenient for surveilling the Aegean Sea and it was very difficult for enemy ships to approach the port.
